Monday, August 25th: The Moon starts the day void-of-course in warmhearted Leo. However, she will move into industrious Virgo at 4:33 AM, and remain there for the rest of the day.
This is a day when we will experience a lot of major planetary aspects throughout the entire day. This occurrence will likely make this a very high energy day where a lot of push and pull is required. We may feel very frustrated by early afternoon, so keep your options open.
Mercury sextiles Mars, 3:46 AM: This planetary combination certainly improves your logic and reasoning skills. But it also tends to amp up your nervous system and may make it difficult to sleep this early morning. This is a very good aspect for getting your point across to others, and it favors people in the communication industry, and those working in sales or in any area of negotiations. This aspect has been in effect since yesterday and will continue throughout the entire day.
The Moon enters Virgo, the sign of the maiden Persephone, at 4:33 AM. The Moon is no longer void-of-course. If you are awake, you are definitely feeling like getting your desk or your workplace in order. Busy hands are happy hands.
Venus trines Uranus, 4:38 AM: With this planetary combination, we are much more open to many different points of view, rather than; only those with which we are familiar. The energy of this aspect really emphasizes the Bohemian nature in all of us. This can also be a great time for relationship restructuring or renegotiations, both on a personal and business level. This aspect has been in effect since yesterday and will be in effect all day today.
Mercury sextiles Saturn, 7:30 AM: This aspect adds more energy to our productive day. And, this can be a great time for strategy meetings; any type of planning or organizational meetings; or, getting all the things done on our “to-do” list. The energy of this planetary combination will cause us to be more serious, and our choices will seem to carry greater weight. This aspect is in effect today and tomorrow.
The Moon conjuncts the Sun, 9:13 AM: This is the New Moon in Virgo, and with this New Moon, we are all going to work to improve our routines for the next 14 days.
Mars conjuncts Saturn, 2:30 PM: All of us have been feeling the energy of this planetary combination approaching for at least the last 2 to 3 days, and it will continue for another couple of days. Usually these are not the best of planets to be connected together. They can make us feel frustrated, and cause us to wait much longer than usual for anything that we want. And, sometimes this can make us feel that we are totally powerless, and can do nothing to change the environment around us. In a sense, the will of the individual comes into direct contact/conflict with social judgment. In a positive sense, these two planets are very good for delving into something that requires an extraordinary amount of dedication and follow through. And, the use of our time has to give us a real sense of satisfaction of the goal and the reward. Generally, this will slow the pace down, so if you want to just relax and chill out, you can make this work for you. If you are pushing too hard and you are not getting anywhere, stop pushing.
The Moon opposes Neptune, 5:15 PM: This is a very strange ending for this day because this planetary combo seeks isolation and retreat from the stresses and pressures of the day. This might be the perfect day to take off early and head home for some positive mental health activity. These energies are great for meditation, Yoga, Pilates, or Tai Chi.
All times are CDT.
