Thursday, August 21st Daily #Astrology Forecast from Lilly Roddy Show

Thursday, August 21st: The Moon resides in emotional Cancer for the entire day. However, she does turn void-of-course at 2:34 PM, and remains so until Friday afternoon at 3:49 PM, when she enters proud Leo. This is another long void-of-course Moon time frame – over 25 hours this time.

This is definitely a time when you need to take care of your important activities before the Moon goes void-of-course at 2:34 PM. Since the Moon will remain void-of-course until Friday afternoon: and there are no exact aspects for the entire day on Friday, we are sailing without a rudder. This may make these two days, Thursday and Friday, better days for cleaning out files, doing inventory, sitting at the beach, or enjoying an extra long weekend at the lake house. We get back on track on Saturday.

The Moon opposes Pluto, 2:07 AM: If you are asleep, this is a great aspect to allow you to clear emotional garbage out of your life. If you are awake, you’re just taking more time going through the garbage that you are getting rid of.

The Moon trines Mars, 9:48 AM: We are certainly feeling active and energized this morning. So, use this energy to make it a rewarding time to meet new people, make sales calls, or just to take care of some of the items you have backlogged. We are feeling more upbeat!

The Moon squares Uranus,11:55 AM: Use the energy of this transit to “think outside of the box” this late morning. We will not want to stick to strict scheduling or interact with people who have small minds. Give yourself plenty of latitude and maybe even have an early lunch.

Mercury trines Pluto, 2:19 PM: The combination of these two planets enhances our investigative skills, our research ability, and pushes us to know more than just the surface story. These energies are ideal to research financial institutions for long-term investments; to develop a greater sense fluidity amongst coworkers; and, may be the best time − ever − to see your therapist. This aspect is in effect all day, and will help to keep us more serious about our thoughts and intentions.

The Moon trines Saturn, 2:34 PM: This is the last aspect that the Moon will make until Saturday morning at 8:47 AM. Make the most of this day. These are good aspects for working on “have to do” projects; or reconfirming our future plans; or, just doing things that strengthen our connections that create emotional security in our lives.

With this Moon−Saturn last aspect of the day, the Moon is now void-of course until Friday afternoon at 3:49 PM, when she enters Leo.

All times are CDT.

Wednesday, August 20th Daily #Astrology Forecast from Lilly Roddy Show

Wednesday, August 20th: The Moon begins the day void-of-course in lively Gemini. However, she enters the sensitive sign of Cancer at 3:45 AM, in the wee hours of the morning.

Since the Moon is no longer void-of-course, but she does not make any aspects until later in the afternoon, we may not be as focused as we would like to be until the Moon makes contact with the other planets.

The Moon trines Neptune, 4:30 PM: During this late afternoon time, although we are now more connected, we are definitely interested in taking a much more laid-back approach to life. And, if you’re trying to work, your work has to be giving you a sense of personal satisfaction and fulfillment, or you will be distracted. This is an enjoyable time to have a glass of iced tea while sitting at the edge of the creek.

The Moon sextiles Mercury, 11:59 PM: If you are up working late, this is an ideal night for writing, planning, organizing, or just sharing your day with someone close.

All times are CDT.

The Moon sextiles Uranus, 12:42 AM: With this aspect occurring early in the morning, this could keep us awake and keep us a bit more mentally active than we are used to. It’s an excellent time to be on the Internet.

The Moon sextiles the Sun, 9:54 PM: We end the evening on an up note with a clear sense of what we’ve done for this whole day. It’s a nice time to meet with clients, or enjoy a late-night dinner with friends. We feel much more relaxed.

Monday, August 18th, Daily #Astrology Forecast from Lilly Roddy Show

Monday, August 18th: The Moon transits Gemini, the sign represented by the Roman numeral “II” – The symbol for duality. She remains there for the whole day.

Venus conjuncts Jupiter, 12:21 AM: This aspect has been affecting us for the last couple of days and all day today. This planetary combination has the effect of making all of us hungrier for a better life, more money, or even an extra scoop of ice cream. On the positive side, this can give us a much grander view of our own reality and what we can really accomplish. We can seem much kinder and much more generous during this planetary combination, as long as it satisfies our own needs. This can also make us over commit easily, so don’t over-load your dance card.

The Moon squares Mercury, 3:06 AM: If you are awake, this a great time to be doing “rat killing”, running computer scans or cleaning out your desk drawers. Otherwise, the energy of this transit may make it hard to sleep.

The Moon squares Neptune, 6:00 AM: With this aspect, you will want to stay in bed and have a mental health day. We move slowly this morning. This is a beneficial time for yoga or tai chi, or just enjoying a cup of coffee on your patio.

The Moon sextiles Jupiter, 7:33 AM: This early morning aspect will help us to get motivated and feel much more like getting on with our day. We feel very upbeat and if you have an early morning meeting, this aspect will make it bearable.

The Moon sextiles Venus, 8:12 AM: These are wonderful energies for meeting with friends or clients. All of us feel much more open; and, much more chatty and comfortable with the people around us.

Mercury opposes Neptune,10:42 PM: Since this aspect has been in effect all day, it is having a strong impact on how we perceive events. This aspect is likely to make all of us a lot more psychically sensitive today. Overall, this energy will make us want to spend more time in solitude, or surrounded by people who are much more like-minded. These energies can inspire some people to paint, to write, or to meditate. Whatever you do, it would be a good idea this evening to make sure that you have some quiet time. This energy could usher in a productive evening for channeling, holding a séance, or doing a past life regression.

All times are CDT.

Saturday, August 16th Daily #Astrology Forecast from Lilly Roddy Show

Saturday, August 16th: The Moon occupies Taurus, the symbol of the Earth Mother for the entire day.

The Moon trines Pluto, 7:11 AM: We feel especially grounded this morning. This energy (with both planets in earth signs) is best used for working or connecting with the earth – go out and work in your garden or yard. We move slowly but carefully this morning. Each step counts.

The Moon opposes Mars, 8:28 AM: Our pace quickens as the morning progresses. We are ready to attack our schedule this morning. We are not especially patient, so watch out for those self-centered narcissistic types that are purposely getting in your way! A workout at the gym, as long as you don’t overdo it, would be a useful way to express this energy.

The Moon opposes Saturn, 5:56 PM: By the late afternoon, and early evening, we have our personal drive and energy under much better control. We are more conservative with our resources and energies this afternoon and evening. We may not feel as social unless there is a “purposeful” reason to go out. And, even then, it may still feel like work. This is a perfect evening for cleaning out your closet, or using it to get organized.

All times are CDT.

And, we can provide a rational and usable arena for our intuitive side to flourish. You will desire a more orderly and less drama filled day. This aspect is in effect all day.

The Moon squares Jupiter, 11:01 PM: Late in the evening, we are hungry for something! Raid the refrigerator or get out for late night pie! Nothing sounds impossible tonight.
