Friday, December 25th: Merry Christmas! The Moon occupies Cancer, the sign that rules home and family, for the whole day.
The Moon opposes the Sun, at 5:11 AM: This is the Full Moon in Cancer−Capricorn. With this Full Moon, we have a lot of expectations and a sense of joy about Christmas this year. With this Full Moon, we are reminded that it is important to have traditions; especially those that reflect your life and not the staid customs from the past. Don’t be afraid to step out of the box and do something different this year! The last Full Moon that occurred on Christmas was in 1977, and it will not happen again until 2034.
The Moon trines Neptune, 12:18 PM: This is the ideal time of the day to start your holiday celebration. And eggnog, with extra “nog,” would be an excellent way to start!
Mercury trines Jupiter, 2:19 PM: With the energy of this aspect having been in effect for the last couple of days, and continuing to be in effect for the next two days, this planetary combination should also make the holiday time frame more pleasant and more fun. Each of us is going to be more “chatty” and interested in knowing what is going on with the people in our family. We will need a lot of entertainment because of this planetary connection, so make certain that you have movies to watch; plays to see; and make plans to drive around and enjoy the holiday lights. Be careful how much you eat and drink since these two planets will encourage over indulging!
Uranus turns Stationary Direct, at 9:53 PM. Uranus moving in direct motion signifies a time of redirecting our focus toward individuality and equality in a more externalized way, rather than confronting it within ourselves. Each of us will desire to step out of our own limited expectations!
