Moon conjunct Saturn, 9:32 AM: We start our day with a plan to get ourselves back on track. We will want to have some “control” back in our lives. This aspect can always lead to overthinking, fretting, and worrying.  Don’t get overwhelmed, get a strategy!

Moon sextile Jupiter, 10:38 AM: We are feeling more positive through the day with this aspect. This is a good time to connect with others for work or with friends and family who have gone through this horrible storm. All relationships are enhanced with this aspect.

Jupiter sextile Saturn, 7:16 AM: The nature of expansion and the dominatrix of contraction can find some middle ground with this aspect. This is a perfect aspect for any type of planning from business expansion, starting a new career, making a permanent commitment with someone, home buying, and making the best of your current situation. Although with Mercury retrograde, it’s best to wait September 9^th before you put any of your ideas or plans into action. This aspect has been influencing us for the last month and will continue through the middle of September. This aspect will help us all to get clear, make decisions, and give us a boost forward!

As Saturn begins to build speed through the next two weeks, we are in a better period for future planning, decision making, and improving personal boundaries. Saturn is having the strongest impact on the mutable signs, Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, and Pisces. Saturn wants you to straighten up and fly right! You are may feel judged by society, your parents, your partner, and that inner voice. Saturn is always good for over thinking a situation to the point of analysis paralysis. Venus enters Leo: 11:30 PM: Our planet of love, personal resources, and physical desire, enters Leo, the sign of self-creativity. This is a very magnetic position for Venus. We will all want to put our best foot forward. Our hearts are more open to give and share love and affection. Thursday, August 24^th , the Moon is moving through Libra, the sign that rules mirrors.

Venus square Uranus, 2:00 PM: This aspect has been affecting us over the last 4 days and will continue to have some strength for the next 3 days. On the surface, this aspect affects relationship by wanting to redefine boundaries that make us feel restricted. Especially with this Mercury retro, relationships that are problematic are tested with this aspect. This can generally create a restlessness that makes us not sure of what we want. We will be very clear about what we don’t want! This also makes is harder to sleep restfully. Keep your schedule flexible over the next couple of days. We are exploring different interest.

This is our only aspect today with no Lunar aspect until Friday. Our emotional center guides us today.

Wednesday, August 23^rd, the Moon spends most of the day in Virgo. Luna goes void-of-course at 3:02 PM. In the evening at 8:05 PM, the Moon enters Libra, the sign of the scales, and is no longer void.

Moon square Saturn, 4:18 AM: The best way to experience this aspect is asleep. If you are awake, we are worrying about everything.

Moon sextile Venus, 3:02 PM: Our afternoon is going along much more smoothly. This aspect enhances personal relationships by creating clear dialogue. This period is good for sales, marketing, or enjoying a cup of coffee with friends.

The Moon in Virgo at 3:02 PM is now void-of-course until 8:05 when the Moon enters Libra, the sign of elegance. There are no more aspects for the rest of the day.

On Thursday, we are working with Venus square Uranus. This aspect has been influencing us for the last 3 days.  This can certainly keep our energies stirred up and may make it more difficult to get good rest. We can’t be fenced in with Venus square Uranus.

Moon conjunct Mercury, 4:41 AM: This aspect may get you up early. You are paying more attention to your routines this morning.

Mars trine Saturn, 8:20 AM: This aspect has been in effect for the last couple of weeks. We have been looking at strategy, career planning, and making good use of our time. With this aspect strong for the next 8 to 10 days, we can get clear about where we want to direct our interest and passion. With Mercury retrograde, this helps in any type of re-evaluation of your future plans, paying more attention to your heath, and an overall better approach to life. We should feel more confident in our choices.

Moon opposes Neptune, 2:17 PM: Our psychic energies are much stronger when these two meet. Choose your company and surroundings carefully.  You may want some time to yourself. Trust your gut with this aspect.

Sun enters Virgo, 5:21 PM: The Sun, our light, enters Virgo, an earth sign. While the Sun moves through Virgo for the next 30 days, we will pay more attention to details, how our routines effect our heath, and looking at ways to improve the functions and habits in our lives. Virgo is always good at cleaning up and organizing, whether that is the office, our eating habits, or the people that live with Virgos. They all can be helped by Virgo’s organizational skills.

Monday, August 21^st, the Moon begins the day in Leo, the sign of the upcoming Eclipse. Luna does go void-of-course right after the eclipse, at 1:30 PM, but soon enters Virgo at 3:25 PM and is no longer void-of-course. There are a lot of extra dynamic energies flowing around us today in addition to the eclipse.

Moon trine Saturn, 12:26 AM: If you are awake, these are good energies to be getting things done. Otherwise, I hope you are sleeping soundly!

Sun trine Uranus, 1:23 AM: When these two planets combine we look for better ways to achieve diversity within our community, with our friends, and within ourselves. This combination allows us to have a view above the fray. With this aspect in play for the last 4 to 5 days, we have been seeing this expression of community awareness being displayed everywhere on the planet as well as here in our own country. On a personal level, this can help us to move beyond fears and limitations; to achieve the best expression of ourselves that we can. This helps us to be more inventive, think outside of the box, and to revive our spirit. This aspect remains strong for the next 5 days as well!

Moon trine Uranus, 12:39 PM: We are feeling giddy this afternoon as the eclipse approaches. With this lunar aspect, we are open minded and can easily feel more connected to our community. With all the hype about the eclipse, it may be hard to focus on tasks that demand our attention. A long lunch with friends is the best way to use this energy.

Moon conjunct Sun, 1:30 PM: Drum Roll!!! “The Solar Eclipse”! This is the New Moon in Leo, the ruler of the heart and love! The effects of this Solar Eclipse have been impacting us since the 7^th when we had the corresponding Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius. This eclipse pattern is the same one that occurred in August 98. Eclipse can change your current path, open new doors, close old doors, awaken you to deeper forces and drives within your own psyche. The people most effected by the Solar Eclipse are those with the Sun or Planets in late degrees of Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio) or in the early degrees of Mutable Signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces). We can all still feel the unsettled and anticipatory nature of the upcoming Eclipse. The Solar Eclipse shines a new light of awareness inside all of us.

During the rest of the afternoon, our energies remains strong even with the upcoming void-of-course Moon but we are certainly not as focused as usual. It may be best to keep your afternoon schedule light and flexible. With this Solar Eclipse in Leo, open your heart and let your love light shine!
