on December 21, 2017

Thursday, December 21st, Happy Winter Solstice! The Moon travels through Aquarius, the individualist, all day.

Sun enters Capricorn, 10:29 AM: With the Sun entering Capricorn, this is the day of the Winter Solstice. This is the day when we have the most hours of darkness before the day light hours begin to lengthen in the northern hemisphere. We are more somber as the Sun travels through Capricorn for the next 30 days. We are being more frugal, planning ahead for the Spring equinox.  We will all take life more seriously as the Sun travels through Capricorn, the sea goat.

Moon square Mars, 12:13 PM: We are active, busy, and not patience during the noon hour. We will be speaking our mind loudly!

Sun conjunct Saturn, 3:09 PM: This yearly aspect, helps us to prioritize our long-term goals for career, relationship commitments, and eliminating the pieces of our lives that have outlived their usefulness. This aspect remains strong over the next 5 days. This is a good time for long term planning, starting your new business, or moving into retirement and focusing on your hobbies or alternative career plans. Just wait until after December 26th to put your new plans into action.

Moon sextile Mercury, 10:54 PM: We are reviewing the past this evening. A wonderful time for holiday gatherings with family or friends from the past. A good time for writing if you are up late!

All times are central.
