A Jungian Perspective on Astrology and Archetype
With Jennifer Embry and Lilly Roddy
What is the archetypal significance of the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and how do their location in our natal astrological chart reflect aspects of our personalities, gifts, and actions? In what way do the astrological signs influence the archetypes we embody? Jung called astrology a ”projected psychology of the unconscious“. His notion of synchronicity suggests that the movement of the planets coincide with their personal archetypes.
In Friday night’s lecture, we will explore archetypal myths and how they might reflect our psychological development and challenges.
