Wednesday, January 13th, the Moon begins the day in Capricorn but soon is void-of-course at 1:22 AM and remains void until 10:44 AM when Luna enters Aquarius and is no longer void-of-course. Today is an extra intense day. People will be reacting in many different ways from fear, anger, frustration, to sheer exhaustion.

Moon conjunct Pluto, 1:22 AM: The Moon begins her pass over the Terrible Trio early this morning and finishing late this evening. Our emotions are on edge. We are not sure of what can make us feel safe. We may process this through our dreams this evening. If it wasn’t so late, this would be a great time for therapy. It’s important to remember you are not alone.

The Moon at 1:22 AM is now void-of-course in Capricorn until 10:44 AM when Luna enters Aquarius.

Mars square Saturn, 5:02 AM: When these two planets interact, there can be great friction between self-expression and the limits and consequences of that self-expression. Our animal self is active with this aspect. We may feel trapped, fearful, and on alert for any provocation. We may respond to the fear by increasing security and planning for unsettled times. We may want to do something but don’t know what to do. It will help to do some light exercise to help reduce your tension. This planetary alignment makes time pass ever so slowly. This aspect has been in play for the last 10 days and will continue to be strong through the next 10 days. This energy will actually get a boost on Saturday, 23rd. This aspect has the strongest impact on fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. This aspect is good for long sustained efforts. It makes you use your resources carefully to achieve the best result. Research, working through a tough problem, and staying the course are all expressing of this energy.

Moon conjunct Saturn, 4:11 PM: This lunar aspect and the next one, both help to intensify the Mars/Saturn alignment. We will be feeling the strength of that alignment this afternoon. Long-term emotional and financial security are on our minds this afternoon. We are looking at all worse case scenarios, just in case! Although the impulse if to hold in your feeling and emotions, you should do just the opposite. Express those feelings and best, share them with someone close so you don’t feel so isolated.

Moon squares Mars, 4:40 PM: We are edgy and defensive. We are taking life personally. Being on edge can also increase our paranoia and respond to emotional slights when there are none. This would be a great time for a workout as long as you don’t over do it. Even a walk would help release tension that is created by this aspect. If you need to defend yourself, you will!

Venus trines Uranus, 6:22 PM: This planetary alignment helps to give us a sense of a more positive future. This aspect really reflects the attitude of “why can’t we all just get along”. On a personal level, this aspect helps with relationships by emphasizing the friendship side of partnerships. It shows us what we have in common and what we can learn from each other. This can also bring together your community in common cause for the betterment of society. This aspect emphasizes equality and accepting individual uniqueness. This aspect has been in play for the last 5 days and will continue to be active for the next 5 days. This aspect should give us some buffer to the harsher aspects that are also taking place. We will want to escape from the struggle and find some peace where we step away from the masses. This is a good aspect for researching new resources and investment. We can use this aspect to help us step above the fray.

Moon conjunct Jupiter, 8:55 PM: The final connection to the Trio takes place this evening. This is about expanding your views and opening up emotionally. This could be a great time for a class, to promote your services, and to put your ideas into words. Equality and justice are the theme for this aspect.

Moon square Uranus, 10:29 PM: Our last aspect of the evening is a strong mentally stimulating aspect. This is a great aspect for problem solving but may not be a good one for sleeping. Electronic devices will have a stronger impact on you. You may want to keep them at a distance from where you sleep.
