July 2014 Monthly Astrocast
General: For the first half of the year, we have been in a two steps forward and one step back. With July, that process comes to an end and we all move forward much more easily.
This is an especially busy month with the Planets. Mercury goes direct on the 7th, so be prepared to start your new projects. Jupiter changes signs and enters Leo on the 16th for a 12 month visit. This should give us a boost energetically. Saturn goes direct on the 20th. This will help us to get more organized and a better overall plan for our future. And finally Uranus goes stationary retrograde on the 21st. This should give more power and emphasis to the Marriage Equality Movement.
When we have this much activity in one month, we will all notice us being pressured to be more decisive.
Good days this month are July 7th, 13th and July 24th. Days with extra tension are July 1st, 4th, 8th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, and the 28th.
Aries – You have been working on making your home and family more safe and comfortable this month. This could also be a time where you might be moving or purchasing other real estate. Relationships are in a period of renewal in your life. If you aren’t paying attention, you could be having some real struggles. That eventually lightens up after the 25th. Life takes an easier pace after mid month over all. Keep working on getting your finances in order.
Taurus – The first half of the year has been a time of evaluation of your career goals and getting your life in order. This month you are much more active and decisive. This is the time to put your long term plans into motion. Your energy level picks up especially after midmonth. Relationship are much more active this month. This is a good time to put yourself out there if you are single or to rejuvenate your existing relationship. Home and family life are much more important after mid month. It’s a good time to invite others and share in the summer time fun.
Gemini – With your ruling planet going direct after the 7th, you are feeling a lot less stuck. This is a good month to focus on finances. You will want to spend money this month! You have a lot to say this month and you will want to get clear with the people around you. And this sense of clarity will extend to you doing much more organizing in your own life. And toward the end of the month you will want to focus more on your health routines. Interactions with co-workers could be more edgy so avoid the drama if you can!
Cancer – Happy Birthday to the Moon Kids! This is your personal yearly cycle of review and renew. This is always a good time to look back at what you have accomplished and then to set new goals for yourself this year. Cancers are still in a rapid growth period, although, not as edgy as this past April. Your feelings remain on the outside of your crab shell and you not willing to hide them as much as usual. You have had to have a strong me first attitude this year. That tension will finally lessen at the very end of July. Your creative skills remain strong. Capitalize on your talents!
Leo – You are in a bit of holding pattern as the month begins. You are in more of a time of retreat rather than a time of action. And your overall plan to get your life, home and family organized gains momentum. Jupiter, planet of good fortune, expansion and gluttony, enters your sign for the next year on July 16th. This should help and give more opportunities for career improvement, great relationship connections and just a better sense of contentment. Look for a strong boost in your energy after the 26th.
Virgo – You career energies have been on hold with Mercury, your ruling planet, being retrograde in your career sector. That all shifts after the 7th. You are ready to put your new plans into action. You continue to be in more of a social mood even with your need to make sure you have time alone. And yes, this is how confusing it really is. Toward the end of the month, you will take some time to retreat. Watch your spending this month. Relationships remain a bit of mystery as you are not sure of what you want to do. But eventually that clears up toward the very end of the year.
Libra – This has been a busy year for you and this month continues that theme. Your career energies remain strong. This is a good time to look for a promotion or to change positions for more opportunity. Mars, planet of self and action, has been in your sign since Dec 7th, 2013. This has and continues to push you to put yourself first. This isn’t always easy for Libras. Although you have more self confidence, you have not been as easy to get along with. That finally calms down at the very end of the month. You are moving into a more socially active time. Get involved in some community organizations!
Scorpio – With Saturn visiting your sign for the last couple of years, this has been such a time of reevaluation. You have been taking your life very seriously and establishing some priorities and long term goals. And you have been working behind the scenes so you have not been as visible as usual. This should all shift about mid month. Career opportunities open up for you this year. This can be a great month to explore all sorts of options. In your relationships, this is a great time to renew vows or to establish real boundaries in your relationship.
Sagittarius – As the month opens, we are continue to work to get our finances in order this month. Relationships are more demanding of intimacy this month. With Mercury going direct in your relationship sector, you can finally move forward and not have to continue to mull over the past. As we get to the end of the month, you will want to make your decisions more permanent regarding your relationships. You will have a greater understanding of what you need and what you don’t need. You are getting more social as we progress through the rest of the year. Hang on. Life will be a lot more fun soon!
Capricorn – Relationships, home, family and career all continue to be very active in your sign. You are more focused on relationships as the month begins. You and your partner, business or personal, have had to be a lot more real this month. Even though you want to move forward, you are not willing to settle to keep the peace. At work, you are feeling stronger. This is a good time to take a leadership role or to even consider starting your own business. After the end of the month, you are more socially and community minded. A business group could be very very beneficial for you and your business.
Aquarius – As the month opens, you have been in cleaning or reorganizing mode. You have been really working on your career energies (long term planning) this year and you will take that to the next level as Saturn goes direct on the 20th. Relationship energies improve a great deal as Jupiter, planet of beneficent, enters your partnership arena for the next year. This can really help with existing relationships and open the door for new ones as well if you are single. And with Mars, planet of action, entering your career sector by the end of the month, you will ready to take the bull by the horns!
Pisces – You have been in a more laid back mode since last month. You are in a much more creative and playful time. You have also been in a nostalgic mood really thinking about your past as you grew up. And now, you have that feeling that you are ready to move forward. You are moving into a cleaning and organizing mode for this month. This is your time to get your fish in row. Career energies open up for you toward the end of the month as you want to do more with your life. But, the main concern, no matter your choices; is that you have to take care of yourself first. As long as you are true to yourself, you will have plenty of energy and drive to accomplish what you need to.
